Summer Course 2025

For the aspiring dancer, ages 7 to 18

The TDC Summer Course is designed for dedicated dancers who are ready to elevate their craft and push their limits. With a rigorous curriculum crafted to hone both technical precision and artistic expression, this course provides the perfect environment for dancers to advance. Students will experience expert training in a range of styles, including ballet, contemporary, progressions, and stretch & strength. Taught by TDC's accomplished faculty, the program combines challenging classes with a supportive atmosphere to help every dancer reach their next level of achievement.

  • To register for classes, camps, or programs at The Dance Conservatory of North Atlanta, all families must create an account through our secure online portal:

    2. Create a Parent/Guardian Account:
      Enter your name, contact info, and set a password.

    3. Add Your Dancer(s):
      Include each student’s name, age, and basic info.

    4. Select Your Program or Classes:
      Choose from our Summer Intensive Weeks

    5. Agree to Studio Policies:
      You'll be asked to read and sign all required waivers and policies.

    6. Submit Registration & Tuition:
      Secure your spot by paying through the portal. (Credit card or ACH options available.)

    Week 1 / June 9-13

    Week 2 / June 16-20

    Week 3 / July 7-11

    Week 4 / July 14-18

  • The Summer Course curriculum includes the following classes:

    • Ballet Technique

    • Pointe / Variations

    • Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT)

    • Cross Training

    • Contemporary and Progressions

    • Pas de Deux

    • Dance Education

  • The program hours are Monday through Thursday 11:00-4:30 p.m., and Friday, 10:00-3:30 p.m. The full class schedule by level will be posted closer to the start of the program.

  • 2025 Summer Tuition

    Weekly Tuition - $185.00

  • Classes are taught by the TDC year-round faculty and guest artists, led by Directors Mackenzie and Robyn Moser.

  • Year-round students should continue to wear their academic year uniform.

    New students:

    Leotard - Wear Moi Candide in Prune

    Tights - Nikolay Convertible Tights

    Ballet Shoes - Nikolay StretchTek or Capezio Leather Hanami (Pink)

    Pointe Shoes - Fitted by Grit and Grace with Satin Ribbon

    Black Pants / Shorts and Socks for Contemporary and Progressions.

  • Everything You Need to Know Before You Start at TDC

    Q: What levels or ages are accepted into the summer program?
    A: We offer summer training for dancers ages 2 to 18. The summer course is designed for dancer ages 7+.

    Q: How do I register for the summer course?
    A: Registration is completed online through StudioPro. New families will need to create an account, select the appropriate summer session.

    Q: Is placement required for new students?
    A: No—students age 7 and up will be accepted with no audition or evaluation required.

    Q: What does my dancer need to bring each day?
    A: Please bring:

    • Ballet attire and any required shoes (including pointe if applicable)

    • A healthy lunch/snack and labeled water bottle

    • Cross-training items (if required for your level)

    • All items clearly labeled with your dancer’s name

    Q: What time should my dancer arrive?
    A: Dancers should arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for dressing, warming up, and mentally preparing. Late arrivals may miss key instruction or warm-up.

    Q: Is there a different rate for part-time summer attendance?
    A: No - our summer course only offers a full time rate. Families may not be able to attend the entire course, but are required to pay the full amount.

    Q: Are drop-ins allowed for summer classes?
    A: No

    Q: What if my dancer gets injured or sick?
    A: Sick dancers should stay home, Injured dancers should observe class. Please email or call the studio to notify us of absences.
